The Carnegie Hall is perfectly proportioned for theatre productions and musical performances, wedding dances, ceilidhs, and large and small dinners and meetings.

The Hall can be used as one large or two smaller rooms when the wooden partition is in place. 


The Hall is insured to hold no more than 180 people

The Carnegie Hall also has a kitchen, dressing/changing room and toilets (male, female and disabled), and its own car park outside.

There are:

  • 145 smart, padded chairs covered in blue velvet material
  • 39 plain plastic chairs
  • 30 padded plastic chairs
  • 70 square tables 60cm x 60cm
  • 12 rectangular tables 180cm x 75cm
  • 2 rectangular tables 180cm x 65cm
Round tables (8's and 10's) can be hired with ease
Note: 180 people limit on Hall capacity


The kitchen can be used to prepare small meals on-site, though large parties will wish to prepare and cook food off-site and bring it into the Hall’s kitchen to finish off and plate up. Mobile kitchens can be sited outside the Hall. 

The kitchen has:

  • 2 domestic electric cookers with ovens
  • A double sink with draining boards and a hand-wash sink
  • A central island worktop (2.5 x 1.2 metres - roughly 8 feet x 4 feet) with cupboards below
  • Around 4 metres (13 feet) of additional worktop space
  • There is also a supply of pots, pans and utensils, and crockery and cutlery.
